PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for plasma oil palm growers in Riau Province increased during the January 28–February 3, 2026 pricing period, based on the official price determination letter No. 03 issued by the provincial pricing team. For nine-year-old palms, FFB prices rose by IDR 68.03 per kg to IDR 3,611.39 per kg.
Data compiled from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency show stronger prices across age categories. FFB prices were set at IDR 2,780.58 per kg for three-year-old palms and IDR 3,154.86 per kg for four-year-old palms. Prices increased to IDR 3,344.48 per kg for five-year-old palms and IDR 3,490.57 per kg for six-year-old palms, before reaching IDR 3,565.41 per kg for seven-year-old palms.
For older plantings, eight-year-old palms were priced at IDR 3,607.57 per kg, while nine-year-old palms posted the highest level at IDR 3,611.39 per kg. Prices for palms aged 10–20 years were set at IDR 3,591.77 per kg. Meanwhile, prices for older trees softened, with 21-year-old palms at IDR 3,534.95 per kg, 22-year-old palms at IDR 3,480.39 per kg, 23-year-old palms at IDR 3,422.21 per kg, 24-year-old palms at IDR 3,358.40 per kg, and 25-year-old palms at IDR 3,286.70 per kg.

In the same pricing determination, the benchmark crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at IDR 14,598.26 per kg, while palm kernel was priced at IDR 12,152.78 per kg. The shell value was recorded at IDR 19.47 per kg, with an index K of 92.67 percent, supporting the upward adjustment in plasma FFB prices for the period. (P2)
