PALMOILMAGAZINE, KUTAI KARTANEGERA – Based on the outcome of the “health” collaboration conducted by the Cooperation and Small and Medium Business Agency of Kutai Kartenegara District, Koperasi Perkebunan Belayan Sejahtera achieved a score of 84.86, indicating a healthy state.
The score signifies that the cooperative has demonstrated sound operational practices and has achieved stable financial performance.
The assessment was series of the commemoration of Hari Koperasi Nasional on 12 July. Koperasi Perkebunan Belayan Sejahtera got the best category of 660 cooperation in the district.
There were 4 (four) variables to assess, they were, the first, governance that covered cooperation principles, institution, and management; the second, risk profile that covered inherent risks, assessment, and risk management implementation quality level implementation; the third, financial performance; and the fourth, capacity or modal.
Some documents checked were accountability sheets of the coordinators and supervisors in 2021 and 2022, establishment document and cooperation documents, articles of association and bylaws.
Group Manager Koperasi Perkebunan Belayan Sejahtera, Jamaluddin was proud of the achievement that the cooperation got. It was from the hard work and commitment of every member of the cooperation.

Jamaluddin also told, by the achievement, the cooperation could be an inspiration for others to encourage the people’s economic development in many regions. “Let us work together, maintain togetherness, involve next generations to continue what we struggled for,” he said.
The achievement was not the first. Koperasi Perkebunan Belayan Sejahtera got award from Ministry of Cooperation and Small and Medium Business Indonesian Republic as the Outstanding Cooperation in 2015 in Producer Category and award as Outstanding Cooperation in Central Kalimantan Province in 2015 in Consumer Category.
