PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at Rp 12,208/kg on Tuesday (21/5/2024), thus the CPO price recorded an increase of Rp 20/kg, or an increase of around 0.16% compared to the CPO price on Monday (20/5/2024) which reached Rp 12,188/kg.
From information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO Franco Belawan & Dumai price was set at Rp 12,208/kg. The CPO price in Teluk Bayur was set at Rp 12,078/kg. The price of CPO in Kembayan opened at IDR 11,758, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid of IDR 11,575/Kg. The price of CPO in Perindu opened at Rp. 11,858, but there was a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid of Rp. 11,575/Kg.
Meanwhile, CPO prices on the Malaysian exchange also recorded an increase. The price of palm oil futures contracts on the Malaysian Exchange was recorded higher, following the rise in vegetable oil prices on the Dalian and Chicago exchanges.

As reported by Reuters, the price of the benchmark palm oil contract for August 2024 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 15 per ton or an increase of around 0.38%, to RM 3,936 (US$ 821.48) per metric ton.
