Riau Plasma FFB Price Drops IDR 57.19/kg, 9-Year Palms at IDR 3,884.10

PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) produced by plasma oil palm smallholders in Riau declined during the August 19–25, 2026 pricing period. The Riau Plasma Partnership FFB Pricing Team set the price for nine-year-old palms at IDR 3,884.10 per kilogram, down IDR 57.19/kg from IDR 3,941.29/kg in the previous period.

The price determination was issued under Riau’s Plasma Partnership FFB Pricing Decision No. 30 following a meeting of the Riau Plasma Partnership FFB Pricing Team. The new rates apply from Wednesday through Tuesday, August 19–25, 2026.

The pricing formula used an average crude palm oil (CPO) price of IDR 15,689.50/kg and an average palm kernel price of IDR 13,075.00/kg. The K Index was set at 93.34%, while the shell value stood at IDR 24.76/kg.

Riau Plasma FFB Prices

The following are the official FFB prices for Riau plasma smallholders for August 19–25, 2026:

  • 3 years: IDR 2,988.82/kg
  • 4 years: IDR 3,392.48/kg
  • 5 years: IDR 3,596.85/kg
  • 6 years: IDR 3,754.25/kg
  • 7 years: IDR 3,834.70/kg
  • 8 years: IDR 3,880.09/kg
  • 9 years: IDR 3,884.10/kg
  • 10–20 years: IDR 3,862.88/kg

Nine-Year Palms Record Highest Price

Nine-year-old oil palms recorded the highest FFB price during the period at IDR 3,884.10/kg.

The rate was slightly higher than the IDR 3,880.09/kg set for eight-year-old palms and the IDR 3,862.88/kg for palms aged 10–20 years.

The shell value of IDR 24.76/kg was included in the pricing mechanism in accordance with the applicable provisions. With the K Index maintained at 93.34%, the FFB price was adjusted downward compared with the previous pricing period.

The new rates serve as the official reference for FFB purchases from plasma oil palm smallholders in Riau during August 19–25, 2026.
