PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding national assets through strict law enforcement and forest area governance.
Speaking during the handover of administrative sanctions and state financial recovery by the Task Force for Forest Area Control (Satgas PKH) on April 10, 2026, the President announced that the government had successfully recovered IDR11.42 trillion in April alone.
This brings the total state financial recovery during his administration to IDR31.3 trillion. Previously, IDR13.255 trillion was secured in October 2025 from corruption cases involving crude palm oil (CPO) export facilities and derivatives, followed by IDR6.625 trillion in December 2025.

“This is a significant figure and reflects real progress in protecting state wealth,” the President stated.
Tangible Benefits for the Public
Prabowo emphasized that the recovered funds could directly support national development. He noted that the amount could be used to renovate up to 34,000 schools across Indonesia—double the number achieved in the previous year, which reached 17,000 schools.
In addition, the funds could finance the renovation of more than 500,000 homes for low-income families, benefiting an estimated 2 million citizens.
“Without these recoveries, these resources would not be available for the people,” he stressed.

Forest Assets Worth Rp370 Trillion Reclaimed
Beyond financial recovery, the government has also regained control of state forest assets valued at approximately IDR370 trillion.
The President described this achievement as highly significant, noting that it is equivalent to nearly 10% of Indonesia’s state budget, which stands at around Rp3,700 trillion. “Within just one and a half years, Satgas PKH has secured assets equal to almost 10% of the national budget. This is extraordinary,” he said.

He also expressed appreciation for the task force personnel, acknowledging the challenges they face in the field, including intimidation and threats.
Protecting state assets, he added, is both a noble duty and a form of national service. “I understand the risks involved, but this is an honorable mission in safeguarding the nation’s wealth,” he remarked.
Firm Commitment to Law Enforcement
Prabowo reiterated that the government will not hesitate to exercise its full constitutional authority to enforce the law, including cracking down on illegal activities such as smuggling and unauthorized mining.
He called on all stakeholders—law enforcement agencies and relevant ministries—to strengthen coordination in preventing state financial leakages.

“There is no alternative. We must enforce the law without exception for the sake of the people,” he concluded.
The President closed by urging all state officials to uphold integrity, nationalism, and dedication in their duties, ensuring that Indonesia’s natural resources are managed for the benefit of the broader population rather than a select few. (P2)
