PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) has accelerated its digital transformation and strengthened corporate governance with the launch of its Integrated Procurement System (IPS), a digital platform designed to streamline the procurement of goods and services through a more transparent, efficient, accountable, and well-governed process.
The introduction of IPS marks a key milestone in the company’s broader strategy to digitalize its business operations while reinforcing the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) across all business units. The platform integrates every stage of the procurement cycle—from procurement planning and supplier selection to contract monitoring and documentation—creating a faster, more competitive, and fully traceable procurement process.
The system also reflects Agrinas Palma Nusantara’s commitment to expanding business opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and local suppliers, particularly those operating near the company’s plantation and operational areas. As part of its open procurement policy, prospective business partners are invited to register or update their vendor information through the company’s IPS vendor portal.
President Director of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero), Mohammad Abdul Ghani, said the implementation of IPS represents far more than a digital procurement platform, describing it as a fundamental element of the company’s transformation toward becoming a professional, high-integrity, and globally competitive enterprise.
He emphasized that every procurement activity must be conducted transparently, professionally, and through a system-based mechanism that minimizes unnecessary intervention while strengthening corporate integrity.
According to Ghani, every business decision should also adhere to the Business Judgment Rule, supported by comprehensive assessments, sound risk mitigation, prudent decision-making, and strict avoidance of conflicts of interest.

“The greater the participation of suppliers, including SMEs and local businesses, the healthier the competition will be. This enables the company to secure higher-quality products and services at more efficient costs,” Ghani said in a statement received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Tuesday (July 7).
Meanwhile, Human Resources and General Affairs Director Erry Herman said IPS creates a more effective procurement mechanism by integrating procurement activities into a single digital platform while establishing clearer authority between headquarters and regional offices.
He noted that procurement activities can now be monitored in real time, properly documented, and completed more efficiently because each organizational unit operates within clearly defined responsibilities and decision-making limits.

“With this system, procurement becomes faster, more targeted, transparent, and fully aligned with the principles of good corporate governance,” Erry said.
Partnership and Plasma Director Seger Budiarjo added that the company will continue enhancing IPS in phases to support its expanding operational requirements.
According to Seger, the platform serves as the foundation of Agrinas Palma Nusantara’s digital procurement transformation. Future improvements will include enhancements to procurement modules, data management, and supporting features to ensure the system remains responsive to the company’s evolving business needs.

“We are confident that this integrated platform will create a procurement process that is more effective, efficient, and transparent while making it easier for suppliers, including SMEs and local business partners, to participate in the company’s supply chain,” he said.
Looking ahead, PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara plans to further develop its integrated digital ecosystem to strengthen corporate governance, improve service quality, and generate sustainable value for all stakeholders. The initiative also forms part of the company’s commitment to supporting the Indonesian government’s food and energy security agenda through modern, professional, transparent, and sustainable corporate management.
