PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara distributed hundreds of sacrificial animals in celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah/2026 across its operational regions in Indonesia. The program was carried out as part of the company’s social commitment to support surrounding communities and employees in need.
The qurban distribution covered several operational areas, including Riau, Jambi, North Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Kalimantan. The sacrificial animals were allocated to local communities, places of worship, community leaders, and company employees.
The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening harmonious relationships with communities while ensuring that the company’s presence delivers tangible benefits to people living around its operational areas.

The symbolic handover ceremony took place in Pekanbaru on Sunday (24/5), led by PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara’s Director of Institutional Relations, Major General (Ret.) Cucu Somantri, who presented the assistance to Regional II Riau I Chief Officer, R Wahyu Cahyadi.
In his remarks, Cucu stated that Eid al-Adha should not only be viewed as a religious observance, but also as a momentum to strengthen the values of compassion, solidarity, and sharing with others.
According to him, as a state-owned enterprise, Agrinas Palma Nusantara has a responsibility to continuously contribute and provide meaningful benefits to communities surrounding its operational areas.
“We hope this qurban assistance can bring happiness and meaningful support to communities, especially those living around Agrinas Palma Nusantara’s operational areas. The company’s presence must genuinely deliver benefits to society,” he said in a statement received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Monday (25/5).

He added that the qurban distribution program also serves as part of the company’s broader effort to strengthen social relations and build sustainable communication with local communities.
Cucu emphasized that listening to community aspirations remains essential to ensure the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs are implemented effectively and create real positive impacts.
He also referred to a message from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, stressing that companies must deliver tangible benefits to society.

He further explained that the slaughtering and distribution process would be conducted gradually in each operational region by involving local committees and surrounding communities to ensure orderly and targeted distribution.
