PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) on the Indonesia Commodity Market (Inacom) or KPBN experienced a significant increase on Monday, November 4, 2024. It was recorded that the price of CPO located in Dumai closed at IDR 15,350/kg or an increase of IDR 232/kg, compared to the price of CPO on Friday (1/11/2024) which closed at IDR 15,118/kg.
Meanwhile in Malaysia, the price of CPO futures on Bursa Malaysia tended to stagnate on Monday, (4/11/2024) following the condition of other vegetable oil prices, while market players awaited data and export figures from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), based on a report from Reuters.
The price of the benchmark FCPOc3 palm oil contract for January 2024 delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 1 per ton, or 0.02%, to RM 4,869 (US$ 1,116.74) per metric ton during the midday break. (P3)
