CPO Prices at KPBN Inacom Weaken on Wednesday (April 16), Malaysian Palm Oil Futures Also Drop

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at IDR14,100/kg on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. This marks a 0.54% decline or a decrease of IDR77/kg compared to Tuesday’s price of IDR14,177/kg.

According to information from KPBN Inacom, the CPO Franco Belawan & Dumai price was set at IDR14,100/kg. The Teluk Bayur CPO Franco price was set at IDR13,970/kg. The Talang Duku CPO price was set at IDR13,900/kg.

Meanwhile, according to Reuters, Malaysian palm oil futures continued their decline for a third consecutive session on Wednesday, dragged down by falling soybean oil prices in both the Chicago Board of Trade and Dalian Commodity Exchange. However, strong export data and a weaker Malaysian ringgit helped limit the losses.

The benchmark palm oil futures contract (FCPOc3) for July 2025 delivery on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell by RM14 per ton, or 0.35%, to RM4,029 (US$912.98) per metric ton during the midday break. The contract had earlier touched its lowest level in over six months.

Based on cargo surveyor reports from Intertek Testing Services and independent inspection company AmSpec Agri Malaysia, Malaysia’s palm oil product exports from April 1–15 rose by an estimated 13.6% to 17% compared to the previous month.
