PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAMBI – A delegation from PalmCo PTPN 4 conducted a working visit to the PGK Jambi Palm Oil Mill (PKS) on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, to benchmark the implementation of the AI-based Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) grading system integrated with mySAP365. This innovation marks a breakthrough in the digitalization of FFB intake and quality assessment.
The AI grading system is directly linked to the mySAP365 Agrobusiness ERP platform. The technology automatically evaluates FFB quality, minimizes manual bias, accelerates the grading process, and generates a complete audit trail. Every stage—from weighbridge intake and payment to quality reporting—is recorded digitally with full transparency.
“With its high data accuracy, this system not only supports operational efficiency but also reinforces business accountability and legal compliance,” a PalmCo representative stated in an official release received by Palmoilmagazine.com on Friday (Sept 26, 2025). Each transaction can be traced back to its source, transport vehicle, and unloading time, making it ready for both internal and external audits.

Beyond transparency, the use of precision data is expected to optimize the Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Oil Extraction Rate (OER). Material balance calculations can now be performed in real time, creating significant opportunities for productivity gains.
The benchmarking at PGK Jambi Mill also validated that digital transformation in agribusiness is not only about technological innovation but also about laying the foundation for long-term sustainability. The system is considered suitable for replication across other PalmCo mills, in line with the “Indonesia Emas 2045” vision, which emphasizes efficiency and transparency.
PalmCo PTPN 4 expressed its appreciation for PGK Jambi’s readiness to share its implementation experience. Through cross-unit synergy and knowledge sharing, PalmCo reaffirmed its commitment to delivering technology-driven solutions that enhance production quality, improve farmer welfare, and strengthen the global competitiveness of Indonesia’s palm oil industry.
