PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Thursday, November 16, 2023, the tender for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) reached Rp 11,622/kg, indicating an improvement of Rp 72/kg or approximately 0.62% compared to the previous day’s tender on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, which was Rp 11,550/kg.
According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the price of CPO franco Belawan and Dumai was recorded at Rp 11,622/kg, while in Talang Duku, it was Rp 11,422/kg. Meanwhile, Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Lampung was priced at Rp 11,660/kg, but in withdrawal (WD), the highest bid was Rp 10,000/kg.
In Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, CPO trade experienced a decrease on Thursday, November 16, 2023, attributed to the decline in soyoil prices at the Chicago Board of Trade. As reported by Reuters, the reference contract price for CPO with the code FCPOc3, set for January 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, dropped by RM 9 per ton or approximately 0.22%, reaching RM 4,009 (US$ 851.17) per metric ton in the early session.
