PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Crude Palm Oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) experienced a withdrawal (WD) with the highest bid at Rp 11,118/kg on Tuesday (5/12/2023).
This indicates a decrease of Rp 57/kg or approximately 0.51% compared to the Monday (4/12/2023) tender, which was at Rp 11,175/kg.
As per the information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO price in Franco Dumai was initially Rp 11,140/kg but was lowered to Rp 11,118/kg during the WD.

Similarly, CPO in Talang Duku was originally priced at Rp 10,940/kg but saw a reduction to Rp 10,758/kg during the WD. In Teluk Bayur, the initial price was Rp 11,010/kg, but it dropped to Rp 10,968/kg in the WD.
The Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Dumai was initially priced at Rp 11,604/kg but experienced a reduction to Rp 11,350/kg during the WD.
Meanwhile, the CPO trade at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange declined for the third consecutive session on Tuesday (5/12/2023). This trend was observed in other vegetable oils in Dalian and the Chicago Board of Trade, which remained competitively priced.

According to Reuters, the CPO reference contract price, coded FCPOc3, for February 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange decreased by RM 25 per ton or around 0.65%, reaching RM 3,799 (US$ 815.06) at midday.
