PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, the tender price for crude palm oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was Rp 13,185 per kilogram.
This marks an increase of Rp 185 per kilogram, or approximately 1.42%, from Monday’s tender price of Rp 13,000 per kilogram. According to Palmoilmagazine.com, CPO Franco Belawan and Dumai also priced at Rp 13,185 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, CPO in Kembayan was offered at Rp 12,735 per kilogram but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 12,375 per kilogram.
Reuters reported that CPO contract prices at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose for the fifth consecutive session on Tuesday, driven by concerns over low production and rising prices of other vegetable oils at the Dalian Exchange.
CPO reference contract for September 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased RM 56 per ton or about 1,41% to be RM 4.035 (US$ 855,42) per metric ton in the early session.
