PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, the price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom stood at IDR 12,888/kg. This represents a decrease of IDR 233/kg, or about 1.78%, from Monday’s tender price (July 8, 2024) which stood at IDR 13,121/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN Inacom, the Franco CPO prices are as follows: IDR 12,888/kg in Belawan and Dumai, IDR 12,688/kg in Talang Duku, and IDR 12,438/kg in Kembayan.

Meanwhile, the price of crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) was IDR 17,500/kg in Belawan and IDR 16,926/kg in Lampung, with the highest bid at IDR 10,000/kg.

As quoted from Reuters, CPO contract price at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got decreased more than 2% on Tuesday (9/7/2024). It might mean the highest decreasing price in the past month because of the increasing stock and cheaper soyoil, and because of the better harvest than the expectation in USA.

CPO reference contract price with the code FCPO1 for September 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 86 per ton or 2,13% to be RM 3.956 (US$ 839,92) per metric ton in the midday.
