CPO Price at KPBN Inacom Rises by 1.23% on Thursday (26/9)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom rose to Rp 13,928/kg on Thursday (26/9/2024), an increase of Rp 169/kg or about 1.23% compared to the previous day’s price of Rp 13,759/kg on Wednesday (25/9/2024).

According to data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN Inacom, the CPO Franco Dumai price reached Rp 13,928/kg. In Talang Duku, the CPO price reached Rp 13,728/kg, while in Kembayan it reached Rp 13,488/kg. In Ngabang, the CPO price was IDR 13,578/kg, but the highest bid in the withdrawal process (WD) was IDR 13,488/kg. Similarly in Parindu, the CPO price was at Rp 13,578/kg, with the highest bid at Rp 13,488/kg.

As reported by Reuters, CPO prices at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose on Thursday (26/9/2024) due to increasing demand from India and concerns over supply from major palm oil producers. The reference contract price for December 2024 delivery (FCPOc3) increased by RM 57 per ton, or about 1.41%, reaching RM 4,100 (US$ 992.74) per metric ton by midday.
