PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom dropped to Rp 13,977/kg on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, marking a 1.12% decrease (Rp 158/kg) from Monday’s tender price of Rp 14,135/kg.
According to information from KPBN, CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was priced at Rp 13,977/kg, while in Talang Duku it was Rp 13,777/kg.
As reported by Reuters, CPO prices on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange also continued to decline on Tuesday, driven by cheaper prices for other vegetable oils. However, strong export data helped limit further losses. The reference CPO contract price (FCPOc3) for December 2024 delivery fell by RM 38 per ton, or about 0.88%, to RM 4,275 (US$ 993.26) per metric ton by midday.
Soyoil conract price at Dalian (DBYcv1) got decreased 0,75%, CPO contract price (DCPcv1) did decrease 1,21%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade (BOcv1) did too 0,43%.
