KPBN Inacom’s CPO price climbed IDR 225/kg, or 1.54%, while Malaysia’s benchmark December 2026 CPO futures gained RM137 to RM4,661 per tonne.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — The crude palm oil (CPO) price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) rose sharply on Thursday (Oct. 8, 2026), reaching IDR 14,850/kg, up IDR 225/kg, or 1.54%, from IDR 14,625/kg on Wednesday.
According to KPBN data, the CPO Franco Dumai price was set at IDR 14,850/kg. Other reference prices included FOB Talang Duku at IDR 14,600/kg and Franco Teluk Bayur at IDR 14,650/kg.

At CIF Gresik Port, the CPO price was recorded at IDR 14,850/kg on a WD basis, with an offer of IDR 14,600/kg.
The crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) price at Franco Dumai was set at IDR 27,204/kg on a WD basis, while the highest bid stood at IDR 26,225/kg.
Malaysia CPO Futures Gain
CPO futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives also ended higher on Thursday, supported by expectations that Malaysia could propose a temporary exemption from export duties under its 2027 Budget.
According to Bernama, the October and November 2026 contracts each gained RM138 to close at RM4,448 and RM4,551 per tonne, respectively.

The December 2026 contract rose RM137 to RM4,661 per tonne, while the January 2027 contract jumped RM131 to RM4,767 per tonne.
Further along the curve, the February 2027 contract gained RM115 to RM4,854 per tonne, while the March 2027 contract advanced RM91 to RM4,925 per tonne.
