PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for independent oil palm smallholders in Riau Province increased during the July 8–14, 2026 pricing period, according to the latest pricing decision issued by the Riau FFB Pricing Committee under Decree No. 24.
The committee raised the price for 9-year-old oil palm trees by IDR 14.67/kg, bringing the benchmark to IDR 3,796.04/kg.
For the same pricing period, the committee set the crude palm oil (CPO) reference price at IDR 15,441.81/kg, while the palm kernel price was fixed at IDR 14,019.00/kg. The palm shell value was established at IDR 23.11/kg, with a K index of 92.45%, the key factor used in calculating FFB prices for independent smallholders.
Based on data compiled by Palmoilmagazine.com from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency, the official FFB prices by tree age are as follows:
- 3 years: IDR 2,938.33/kg
- 4 years: IDR 3,277.66/kg
- 5 years: IDR 3,518.01/kg
- 6 years: IDR 3,653.74/kg
