North Sumatra Palm FFB Prices Edge Up to IDR 3,881.83/kg for July 8–14, 2026

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm in North Sumatra were largely stable during the July 8–14, 2026 pricing period. According to the North Sumatra Provincial FFB Pricing Team, the benchmark price for oil palms aged 10–20 years was set at IDR 3,882 per kilogram, representing a modest increase of IDR 1.16/kg from the previous period.

For the same pricing period, the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) was set at IDR 15,360.65/kg, while palm kernel was priced at IDR 13,650.91/kg. The K Index, used in calculating FFB prices, was fixed at 93.76%.

Data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from the North Sumatra Provincial Plantation and Livestock Agency showed that FFB from 3-year-old palms was priced at IDR 3,270.75/kg, 4 years at IDR 3,487.41/kg, 5 years at IDR 3,608.38/kg, 6 years at IDR 3,714.96/kg, 7 years at IDR 3,687.77/kg, and 8 years at IDR 3,815.94/kg.

Meanwhile, FFB prices for 9-year-old palms reached IDR 3,851.47/kg, 10–20 years IDR 3,882.99/kg, 21 years IDR 3,887.47/kg, 22 years IDR 3,851.14/kg, 23 years IDR 3,797.06/kg, 24 years IDR 3,680.08/kg, and 25 years IDR 3,572.22/kg.

For older plantations, FFB prices were set at IDR 3,543.74/kg for 26-year-old palms, IDR 3,491.41/kg for 27 years, IDR 3,436.20/kg for 28 years, IDR 3,379.39/kg for 29 years, and IDR 3,322.58/kg for 30-year-old palms. (P3)
