PALMOILMAGAZINE, PADANG – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm in West Sumatra continued to strengthen during the second pricing period of July 2026. Based on the decision of the West Sumatra FFB Pricing Team for the July 8–14, 2026 period, the price for productive oil palm trees aged 10–20 years was set at IDR3,912.72 per kilogram, up IDR101.80/kg from the previous pricing period.
The Pricing Team also set the reference Crude Palm Oil (CPO) price at IDR15,269.24/kg, palm kernel at IDR13,603.00/kg, and palm shell at IDR17.84/kg. The K index, which is used in calculating FFB prices, was maintained at 93.75%.
According to data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from the West Sumatra Plantation, Food Crops, and Horticulture Office, higher prices were recorded across nearly all tree age categories. FFB from 3-year-old palms was priced at IDR3,070.39/kg, 4-year-old palms at IDR3,245.31/kg, 5-year-old palms at IDR3,438.35/kg, 6-year-old palms at IDR3,550.06/kg, 7-year-old palms at IDR3,688.57/kg, and 8-year-old palms at IDR3,825.29/kg.

Meanwhile, FFB from 9-year-old palms was valued at IDR3,901.71/kg. For older plantations, prices were set at IDR3,761.61/kg for 21-year-old trees, IDR3,755.26/kg for 22-year-old trees, IDR3,698.31/kg for 23-year-old trees, IDR3,525.85/kg for 24-year-old trees, and IDR3,486.45/kg for 25-year-old trees.
