PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – Henderi Djunaidi, the Director of PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk. (BWPT), a palm oil plantation company within the Rajawali Group, significantly increased his stock ownership on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
According to information available from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bursa Efek Indonesia or BEI) on Friday, January 26, 2024, Henderi acquired 677,500 BWPT stocks at a rate of Rp 52 per share, resulting in a transaction value of approximately Rp 35.23 million.
Data from RTI Business indicates a 1.92 percent decrease in BWPT stock prices during the purchase period, settling at Rp 51 per share. Andrew Haryono, the Corporate Secretary of BWPT, stated on Thursday, January 25, 2024, that the purpose of the transaction was for investment through direct stock ownership.

By the purchasing transaction, Henderi Djunaidi now got 4 million stocks at BWPT or equal to 0,013 percent of stock ownership. The numbers escalated than the previous ones that reached 3,32 million stocks or 0,011 percent.
It means as an investment strategy that shows a trust in the company’s performance and progress. This would reflect not only the management support but also the positive signal for investors and potential investors.
Though the stocks got decreasing in the transaction period, what Henderi decided to multiply stock ownership would be the consideration for the long term – project in the company. (T2)
