PALMOILMAGAZINE, KUALA LUMPUR — Traceability and supply chain integrity are becoming increasingly critical in meeting global sustainability standards in the palm oil industry, including compliance with Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certification and NDPE (No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation) commitments.

According to information shared through Apical’s official communication channels on Monday (18/5/2026), Mooi-See emphasized that “traceability and supply chain integrity have now become crucial factors in meeting sustainability standards such as RSPO and NDPE.”

During the conference session, Apical underscored the strategic role of palm oil mills as key control points linking upstream operations with downstream customer requirements. Apical also noted that enhanced monitoring at mills could help strengthen global market confidence in responsible palm oil sourcing practices. The move forms part of broader industry efforts to address increasing demands from international consumers and regulators for greater transparency across supply chains.
