PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) tender for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) witnessed a reduction in price on Monday, September 18, 2023, with the price dropping to Rp 10.838/kg. This represents a decrease of Rp 137/kg compared to the tender on Friday, September 15, 2023, which was Rp 10.975/kg.
Palmoilmagazine.com reported that KPBN offered CPO at Rp 10.838/kg in Belawan and Dumai, while in Talang Duku, it was priced at Rp 10.638/kg. The highest bid in the withdrawal (WD) was Rp 10.505/kg.
Meanwhile, CPO trading at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange also experienced a decline. According to Reuters, the reference contract for CPO with the code FCPOc3, set for December 2023 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, decreased by RM 84 or approximately 2.19%, reaching RM 3,746 (equivalent to US$ 799.57) per metric ton during the early trading session. This represents a decrease of 1.17% compared to the previous week.
