PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) stood at Rp 12,200/kg on Tuesday (27/2/2024), marking an improvement of Rp 95/kg or approximately 0.78% compared to Monday’s tender, which was Rp 12,105/kg on February 26, 2024.
According to Palmoilmagazine.com reports, the CPO prices obtained from KPBN were consistent across different regions: CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was priced at Rp 12,200/kg, Talang Duku at Rp 12,000/kg, and Teluk Bayur at Rp 12,070/kg.
However, in East Kalimantan, the price was recorded at Rp 11,800/kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid standing at Rp 10,000/kg. Similarly, CPO in West Kalimantan was listed at Rp 11,850/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid recorded at Rp 11,713/kg.

For Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO), Lampung reported a price of Rp 12,715/kg, but it was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 10,000/kg. In Palembang, CPKO was priced at Rp 12,572/kg, with the highest bid for withdrawal standing at Rp 12,132/kg. Additionally, CPO in Dumai was priced at Rp 12,936/kg, yet it was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 12,726/kg.
CPO price at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange also increased for May 2024 delivery at RM 61 per ton or about 1,58%, to be RM 3.924 (US$ 824,37) per metric ton in the closing session.
As quoted from Reuters, soyoil contract price at Dalian Commodity Exchange increased 0,94%, CPO contract escalated 1,04%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade did too 0,67%.
