PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The tender for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) reached Rp 12,390/kg on Thursday (29/2/2024), marking an increase of Rp 100/kg or approximately 0.81% compared to Wednesday’s tender which stood at Rp 12,290/kg.
According to Palmoilmagazine.com, the price of CPO Franco in Belawan and Dumai was Rp 12,390/kg, whereas in Talang Duku, it was Rp 12,190/kg. Meanwhile, Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Lampung was priced at Rp 12,835/kg, with the highest bid for withdrawal (WD) being Rp 10,000/kg.
The CPO prices at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange also saw an uptick on Thursday (29/2/2024), echoing the trend seen in expensive vegetable oils. Market participants were eagerly anticipating insights from an upcoming industrial conference scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur next week.

As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract price with the code FCPOc3 for May 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased RM 62 per ton or about 1,59% to be RM 3.969 (US$ 836,99) per metric ton in the closing session.
