PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom on Friday, April 5th, 2024, stood at Rp 13,305/kg, reflecting a decrease of Rp 123/kg or approximately 0.92% compared to the previous Thursday’s tender of Rp 13,428/kg.
Palmoilmagazine.com reported that CPO Franco prices in Belawan and Dumai were Rp 13,305/kg, while in Talang Duku, it was Rp 13,155/kg, with a withdrawal (WD) price of Rp 13,075/kg being the highest bid. Additionally, Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Lampung was priced at Rp 15,149/kg, but with a withdrawal (WD) price of Rp 12,002/kg as the highest bid.
Analyzing data from April 1st to 5th, 2024, Palmoilmagazine.com calculated that the average CPO price at KPBN increased by approximately Rp 230.95/kg, reaching Rp 13,332.20/kg, marking a rise of about 1.76% compared to the preceding week (March 25th to 29th, 2024) when it was Rp 13,101.25/kg.

The CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange experienced a decline on Friday, April 5th, 2024, attributed to the lower-than-predicted weekly selling price data for soyoil by the United States Department of Agriculture. According to Reuters, the CPO reference contract price, with the code FCPOc3 for June 2024 delivery at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, decreased by RM 42 per ton, approximately 0.95%, to RM 4,358 (US$ 919.22) per metric ton in the early trading session. However, CPO contract prices in the exchanges rose by 3.72% throughout the week.
Based on official documents from KPBN, due to the Idul Fitri 1445 H holidays, the last tender was scheduled for Friday, April 5th, 2024, with the next tender set to take place on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024.
