PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The tender for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom on Friday (19/4/2024) was Rp 12,368/kg, marking a decrease of Rp 97/kg or approximately 0.04% compared to Thursday’s tender (18/4/2024) at Rp 12,465/kg.
According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, CPO Franco prices in Belawan and Dumai were Rp 12,368/kg. Meanwhile, CPO Franco in Talang Duku was priced at Rp 12,218/kg but was withdrawn (WD) with the highest bid at Rp 12,000/kg.
Palmoilmagazine.com analysis for April 16-19, 2024, revealed that the average CPO tender price at KPBN decreased by approximately Rp 814.95/kg, reaching Rp 12,517.25/kg or about 6.11% lower compared to the previous week’s average tender (April 1-5, 2024) of Rp 13,332.20/kg.

In contrast, the CPO price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange saw an increase in the morning session for July 2024 delivery, rising by about RM 40 per ton or approximately 1% to RM 4,024 (equivalent to US$ 840.26) per metric ton, breaking the trend of continuous price decline since early December. However, the contract might experience a weekly decrease of up to 6%.
As reported by Reuters, the contract prices for soyoil at the Dalian Exchange increased by 0.37%, while CPO contract prices rose by 0.54%. Additionally, soyoil at the Chicago Board of Trade experienced a 1.14% increase.
