PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, ended in withdrawal (WD), with the highest bid at Rp 12,730/kg. This reflects a decreased of Rp 100/kg, or approximately 0.78%, from Monday’s tender on August 12, 2024, which was Rp 12,830/kg.
According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO Franco price in Belawan was set at Rp 12,782/kg, but it ended in WD with the highest bid at Rp 12,730/kg. Similarly, CPO Franco in Dumai was also Rp 12,782/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 12,692/kg. In Talang Duku, CPO was priced at Rp 12,582/kg but ended in WD with the highest bid at Rp 12,482/kg.
Meanwhile, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) in Belawan was priced at Rp 20,162/kg but was withdrawn with the highest bid at Rp 19,700/kg.

As reported by Reuters, the CPO contract price at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange was closed on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, as traders evaluated the impact of lower stock levels on August 2024 exports.
CPO reference contract price for October 2024 deliver at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 7 per ton or about 0,19% to be RM 3.701 (US$ 831,69) per metric ton in the evening.
Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) mentioned that July 2024 palm oil stocks in the country got decreased in numbers for the first time in the last four months because of the increasing exports surpassed the increasing production.
Soyoil contract price at Dalian got decreased 1,57%, CPO contract price did too 1,37%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade did decrease 0,4%.
