CPO Price at KPBN Inacom Increased on Monday (19/8)

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The crude palm oil (CPO) tender at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom reached Rp. 12,625/kg on Monday, August 19, 2024.

This marks an increased of Rp 37/kg or approximately 0.29% compared to the previous tender on Friday, August 16, 2024, which was Rp 12,588/kg.

According to information Palmoilmagazine.com received from KPBN Inacom, the price of Franco CPO in Belawan and Dumai was set at IDR 12,625/kg, while in Talang Duku, the price was IDR 12,425/kg.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that CPO contract prices on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell for the second consecutive session on Monday, August 19, 2024, due to a drop in soyoil prices on the Dalian Commodity Exchange and an appreciation of the ringgit, which put downward pressure on CPO contract prices.

CPO reference contract price for November 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange got cheaper RM 9 or 0,24% to be 3.672 Ringgit Malaysia (US$ 837,97) per metric ton at 02.46 GMT. It got decreased 1,79% for last week and the fourth decreasing price in a row.

Soyoil contract price at Dalian got decreased 0,38%, CPO contract price did too 0,27%. Soyoil price at Chicago Board of Trade got increased 0,51%. (P2)
