PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at the Indonesia Commodity Market (Inacom) or PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) located in Belawan and Dumai experienced a slight increase on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
Based on the information Palmoilmagazine.com received from Inacom, the price of CPO was closed at IDR 15,330 per kilogram (/kg), this price increased by IDR 20/kg compared to the trade on Tuesday (5/11/2024) which was closed at IDR 15,310/kg. Meanwhile, the price of Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO) in Belawan was set at IDR 22,860/Kg.
Meanwhile in Malaysia, the price of Palm Oil futures on Bursa Malaysia rose on Wednesday, (6/11/2024) on the back of rising soybean oil prices on the Dalian Exchange and a weakening ringgit, while players looked for cues from the palm oil conference (IPOC) in Indonesia due to start at the end of this week and Malaysian Palm Oil Board data due next week, as quoted from Reuters.
