PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was set at IDR 13,385 per kilogram on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, reflecting a marginal decline of IDR 1 or 0.01% from IDR 13,386/kg recorded on Tuesday (June 3).
According to data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the CPO price at Franco Belawan and Dumai was fixed at IDR 13,385/kg, while Franco Teluk Bayur opened at IDR 13,255/kg. The FOB price at Talang Duku was recorded at IDR 13,185/kg.
Meanwhile, Malaysian palm oil futures rebounded and closed higher on Wednesday (June 4), following a brief downturn earlier due to concerns over a potential third consecutive monthly inventory increase in May, according to Reuters.

The benchmark August 2025 CPO futures contract on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose by RM16 per ton or 0.41%, closing at RM3,950 per metric ton (approximately US$930.73).
India, one of the world’s largest palm oil importers, significantly increased its CPO purchases in May. Imports hit a six-month high as domestic stocks fell and palm oil prices remained more competitive than rival vegetable oils such as soybean and sunflower oil.
On other exchanges, the most active soybean oil contract in Dalian posted a modest gain of 0.13%, while the palm oil contract on the same exchange fell by 0.73%. Meanwhile, on the Chicago Board of Trade, soybean oil futures rose 0.51%.
