CPO Prices at KPBN Inacom Edge Up on Monday (Sept 22), Malaysian Palm Oil Futures Strengthen

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The price of crude palm oil (CPO) at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) was set at IDR 14,755/kg on Monday (Sept 22, 2025). This marks an increase of IDR 94/kg, or about 0.64%, compared to Friday’s (Sept 19, 2025) level of IDR 14,661/kg.

According to KPBN data obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com, CPO prices were recorded as follows; Franco Kuala Tanjung, Belawan & Dumai IDR 14,755/kg, FOB Talang Duku IDR 14,555/kg, and Franco Teluk Bayur IDR 14,625/kg

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that Malaysian palm oil futures opened higher on Monday (Sept 22, 2025), supported by stronger soyoil prices on the Dalian exchange and firmer global crude oil. However, weaker soyoil prices on the Chicago Board of Trade limited gains.

The benchmark CPO contract for December delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange rose RM 16 per ton, or 0.36%, to RM 4,441 (US$1,055.37) per ton in early trade.

On related markets:

  • The most active soyoil contract on Dalian rose 0.26%.
  • Palm oil futures on the same exchange slipped slightly by 0.15%.
  • Soyoil on the Chicago Board of Trade edged down 0.06%.

From the export side, cargo surveyor Intertek Testing Services reported that Malaysia’s palm oil shipments during September 1–20 were up 8.7% compared to the same period last month.

On currency movements, the Malaysian ringgit—the key trading currency for palm oil—eased 0.1% against the US dollar, making the commodity relatively cheaper for buyers using foreign currencies.
