KPBN’s benchmark CPO price eased to IDR 15,650/kg on August 6 as Bursa Malaysia palm oil futures declined on concerns over improving supply and softer competing vegetable oils.

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — Indonesia’s crude palm oil (CPO) reference price at PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) edged lower on Thursday, August 6, 2026, mirroring weakness in the Malaysian palm oil futures market amid softer crude oil and soybean oil prices and expectations of rising palm oil production.

KPBN set the Franco Dumai CPO price at IDR 15,650 per kilogram, down IDR 38/kg, or 0.24%, from the highest bid of IDR 15,688/kg recorded on Wednesday, August 5.
