KPBN Inacom’s highest CPO bid for Franco Dumai fell IDR 37/kg from the previous trading session, while Malaysian palm oil futures extended their rally for a fifth consecutive session.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA — Crude palm oil (CPO) prices in the PT Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom tender weakened on Friday, August 21, 2026, compared with the previous trading session.
According to KPBN Inacom, the Franco Dumai CPO offer was set at IDR 16,100 per kilogram, but the tender ended in withdrawal (WD). The highest bid reached IDR 15,888/kg.

The highest bid was down IDR 37/kg from the Franco Dumai CPO price recorded in Thursday’s tender, August 20, 2026, at IDR 15,925/kg.
Other KPBN Inacom tender locations also ended in withdrawal. CPO at FOB Talang Duku was offered at IDR 15,850/kg, with the highest bid reaching IDR 15,638/kg.
At Franco Teluk Bayur, CPO was offered at IDR 15,900/kg, while the highest bid came in at IDR 15,603/kg.

For loco sales, CPO from PKS Kembayan was offered at IDR 15,600/kg, with the highest bid at IDR 15,438/kg. Meanwhile, CPO from Loco PKS Parindu was offered at IDR 15,700/kg, with the highest bid reaching IDR 15,538/kg.
In contrast to the movement in the KPBN Inacom tender, CPO futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Friday, August 21, extending gains for a fifth consecutive session. The increase was supported by stronger soybean oil futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).
According to Bernama, the September 2026 CPO contract rose RM57 to RM4,791 per metric ton. The October 2026 contract gained RM62 to RM4,934 per ton, while the November 2026 contract increased RM57 to RM5,018 per ton.

The December 2026 contract climbed RM52 to RM5,077 per ton. The January 2027 contract rose RM48 to RM5,118 per ton, while the February 2027 contract advanced RM46 to RM5,141 per ton.
The contrasting movements highlight different dynamics across the palm oil market. While KPBN Inacom’s domestic tender recorded weaker bids and ended in withdrawal, Malaysian CPO futures continued their upward momentum.
