The decline reflected profit-taking after the market’s previous-session advance, adding to short-term selling pressure in the regional palm oil market.

The contrasting movements underscore the different short-term dynamics between Indonesia’s domestic CPO market and Malaysia’s futures market. While the KPBN Inacom benchmark gained IDR 61/kg, most Bursa Malaysia CPO contracts ended lower.
