PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEDAN — The price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of oil palm in North Sumatra has increased for the period of May 21–27, 2025. According to the latest determination by the North Sumatra Plantation Office’s Pricing Committee, the FFB price for oil palm aged 10–20 years rose by Rp135.95 per kilogram to reach Rp3,447.39/kg.
This upward adjustment reflects a positive trend in the palm oil market at the farmer level, driven by the set prices of crude palm oil (CPO) at Rp13,688.39/kg and palm kernel at Rp13,043.24/kg. The K index for the week stands at 92.82%.
