PALMOILMAGAZINE, PADANG – Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm in Indonesia’s West Sumatra Province increased during the fourth pricing period of July 2026 (July 22–31). The provincial FFB Pricing Committee raised the benchmark price for 10–20-year-old oil palm trees by IDR 12.60/kg, bringing it to IDR 3,972.26/kg.
The adjustment reflects continued strength in the province’s key pricing components. During the same period, the benchmark crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at IDR 15,416.38/kg, while the palm kernel price reached IDR 14,127.42/kg. The shell price was established at IDR 17.84/kg, with the K Index remaining at 93.75%.
According to data compiled by PalmOilMagazine.com from the West Sumatra Provincial Plantation, Food Crops and Horticulture Office, FFB prices by tree age were determined as follows:

The latest increase indicates that the underlying factors supporting FFB pricing remain favorable, particularly resilient CPO and palm kernel prices. These stronger commodity values continue to provide positive support for the prices received by oil palm smallholders across West Sumatra. (P3)
