Aceh Sets Palm Oil FFB Prices for July 29–August 11, 2026; 10–20-Year Plasma FFB Reaches IDR 3,763/kg

Aceh’s pricing committee has set fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for the July 29–August 11, 2026 period, with the highest price of IDR 3,763/kg recorded for 10–20-year-old plasma plantations in the province’s eastern region. The benchmark also includes prices for independent smallholders and updated CPO and palm kernel reference values.

PALMOILMAGAZINE, BANDA ACEH — The Aceh Provincial Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) Pricing Committee has announced the official oil palm FFB purchase prices for the July 29–August 11, 2026 period. The highest benchmark price was set at IDR 3,763 per kilogram for plasma smallholders with oil palm trees aged 10–20 years in eastern Aceh.

According to data released by the Aceh Provincial Agriculture and Plantation Agency on Tuesday (August 4), the pricing mechanism is based on plantation age for plasma smallholders, while prices for independent smallholders are determined according to the proportion of tenera and dura fruit. The benchmark serves as the official reference for FFB transactions across eastern and western Aceh during the pricing period.

In eastern Aceh, plasma FFB prices range from IDR 2,827/kg for three-year-old palms to IDR 3,763/kg for plantations aged 10–20 years, before gradually declining for older trees.

Meanwhile, in western Aceh, the highest plasma FFB price reached IDR 3,734/kg for the 10–20-year age category, with prices also varying according to plantation age.

For independent smallholders, FFB prices are determined by fruit composition. In eastern Aceh, FFB containing 100% tenera fruit was priced at IDR 3,455/kg, declining progressively to IDR 3,329/kg for a composition of 40% tenera and 60% dura.

In western Aceh, prices ranged from IDR 3,428/kg for 100% tenera fruit to IDR 3,303/kg for the 40% tenera and 60% dura composition.

The committee also set the K Index at 89.86% for eastern Aceh and 89.15% for western Aceh. During the same period, the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) was fixed at IDR 15,657.13/kg, while the reference price for palm kernel was established at IDR 14,466.59/kg. (P3)
