Palm oil fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for plasma smallholders in South Sumatra reached IDR 3,910.50 per kilogram for 22-year-old trees in the first August 2026 pricing period.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, PALEMBANG, INDONESIA — Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for plasma oil palm smallholders in South Sumatra reached as high as IDR 3,910.50 per kilogram for 22-year-old trees in the first pricing period of August 2026.
The prices apply from August 1 to August 15, 2026, following a meeting of the South Sumatra Provincial Oil Palm Growers’ FFB Purchase Price Determination Team held on Monday, August 10, 2026.

The pricing calculation was based on an average crude palm oil (CPO) price of IDR 15,347.85/kg and a palm kernel price of IDR 13,928.93/kg. The K index was set at 93.38%, while the shell value was determined at IDR 18.78/kg and incorporated into the final FFB prices.

The highest FFB price during the first August 2026 period was recorded for 22-year-old oil palm trees at IDR 3,910.50/kg. Plantations aged between 10 and 20 years followed closely at IDR 3,910.46/kg.
The next South Sumatra FFB price-setting meeting for the second August 2026 period is scheduled for August 19, 2026. (P3)
