Jambi FFB Price Hits IDR 3,913.49 per Kg for 10–20-Year-Old Palms

The highest FFB price in Jambi for Aug. 28–Sept. 3 reached IDR 3,913.49 per kg, while all age groups recorded increases from the previous period.

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAMBI — The fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price for oil palm smallholders in Jambi Province increased for the August 28–September 3, 2026 pricing period, with the highest price set at IDR 3,913.49 per kg for oil palms aged 10–20 years.

The latest price represents an increase of IDR 47.02 per kg from IDR 3,866.47 per kg in the previous pricing period.

The price was determined by the Jambi Provincial Oil Palm FFB Price-Setting Team based on crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel price data reported by palm oil companies operating in the province.

Jambi FFB Prices by Palm Age

The following are the official FFB prices for Jambi Province for the August 28–September 3, 2026 period:

The 10–20-year age group recorded the highest FFB price at IDR 3,913.49 per kg, followed by 21-year-old palms at IDR 3,851.94 per kg and nine-year-old palms at IDR 3,829.61 per kg.

The lowest price in the latest determination was recorded for three-year-old palms at IDR 3,243.30 per kg.

CPO and Kernel Prices

The average CPO price used in the latest FFB calculation was set at IDR 15,555.23 per kg, while the average palm kernel price stood at IDR 12,836.49 per kg.

The shell value was set at IDR 21.52 per kg, while the K Index reached 93.54%.

All palm age groups recorded increases during the latest pricing period. The increase ranged from IDR 40.18 to IDR 47.02 per kg compared with the previous period.

The latest adjustment reflects the impact of CPO and palm kernel prices on the provincial FFB pricing formula, with the final price varying according to the age of the oil palm trees. (P2)
