Jambi’s benchmark price for fresh fruit bunches from 10–20-year-old oil palms fell to IDR 3,879.38/kg, reflecting a weaker pricing trend for the province’s palm oil sector.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAMBI — Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm growers in Jambi declined for the August 14–20, 2026 period, according to the province’s official FFB Price Determination Team.
The benchmark price for FFB from oil palms aged 10–20 years was set at IDR 3,879.38/kg, down IDR 32.15/kg from IDR 3,911.53/kg in the previous week.
The new prices were determined during a meeting of Jambi Province’s Oil Palm FFB Price Determination Team held on August 13, 2026, at the Provincial Plantation Agency’s hall. The calculation was based on CPO and palm kernel price data submitted by oil palm companies operating in the province.

Based on data compiled by PalmOilMagazine from the Jambi Provincial Plantation Agency, FFB prices for the August 14–20 period were set according to the age of the oil palms.
FFB from three-year-old palms was priced at IDR 3,215.55/kg, while prices for four-year-old and five-year-old palms were set at IDR 3,398.26/kg and IDR 3,478.00/kg, respectively.
The benchmark for six-year-old palms stood at IDR 3,572.81/kg, followed by IDR 3,655.40/kg for seven-year-old palms and IDR 3,711.36/kg for eight-year-old palms.

For older plantations, the price was set at IDR 3,796.31/kg for nine-year-old palms and IDR 3,879.38/kg for palms aged 10–20 years.
Meanwhile, FFB prices were set at IDR 3,818.40/kg for 21-year-old palms, IDR 3,728.84/kg for 22-year-old palms, IDR 3,691.87/kg for 23-year-old palms, IDR 3,510.34/kg for 24-year-old palms, and IDR 3,612.14/kg for 25-year-old palms.

The official price determination document did not include a benchmark for palms aged 26–30 years. The Jambi Provincial Plantation Agency said companies purchasing FFB from plantations in this age category may determine prices through an agreement with their partner growers, in accordance with applicable regulations.
The average crude palm oil (CPO) price used in the calculation was set at IDR 15,401.29/kg, while the average palm kernel price stood at IDR 12,801.62/kg. The shell value was set at IDR 21.52/kg, with the K index at 93.54%. (P2)
