Riau’s independent smallholder FFB price for the Sept. 16–22 period fell by IDR 31.22 per kg, with the highest price set at IDR 3,912.24 per kg for 9-year-old oil palm trees.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — The purchase price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) produced by independent smallholders in Indonesia’s Riau province was adjusted lower for the Sept. 16–22, 2026 period, with the highest price set at IDR 3,912.24 per kg for 9-year-old oil palm trees.
The latest price was down IDR 31.22 per kg from IDR 3,943.46 per kg in the previous period, according to the Riau Provincial Oil Palm FFB Price Determination Team.

The price was set under the Minutes of Meeting on the Determination of FFB Purchase Prices for Independent Smallholders in Riau, document No. 34/TBS-TR/IX-2026.
The meeting was held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026.
CPO and Palm Kernel Prices
The average crude palm oil (CPO) price used in the Riau FFB pricing formula was set at IDR 15,750.59 per kg.
The average palm kernel price was IDR 14,339 per kg, while the K Index used in the FFB pricing formula was set at 93.34%.

The shell value was recorded at IDR 24.76 per kg.
These components formed the basis for calculating the FFB purchase prices for independent smallholders in Riau during the Sept. 16–22 period.
