Riau’s highest fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price for independent smallholders fell IDR 27.08 per kg for the Sept. 23–29 period, with the benchmark price for nine-year-old palms set at IDR 3,885.17 per kg.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — The purchase price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) produced by independent oil palm smallholders in Riau Province declined again for the Sept. 23–29, 2026 period.
Based on the price determination issued by the Riau Provincial Oil Palm FFB Price Determination Team, the highest FFB price was set at IDR 3,885.17 per kg for oil palm trees aged nine years.

The price was IDR 27.08 per kg lower than the previous period, when the benchmark stood at IDR 3,912.24 per kg.
The latest price determination, listed under Determination No. 35, applies from Wednesday through Tuesday, Sept. 23–29, 2026.
As part of the pricing formula, the average crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at IDR 15,696.29 per kg, while the average palm kernel price stood at IDR 14,055.05 per kg.

The team also set the K Index at 93.30%. The BOTL component was recorded at 0.61%, while the shell price was set at IDR 24.65 per kg.
These components form the basis for calculating FFB prices received by independent smallholders in Riau during the current pricing period.
