Riau’s plasma smallholder FFB prices declined for the Sept. 30–Oct. 6, 2026 period, alongside a CPO reference price of IDR 15,525.87/kg and palm kernel price of IDR 13,443.82/kg.
PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU — Fresh fruit bunch (FFB) prices for oil palm produced by plasma smallholders in Indonesia’s Riau province fell again for the Sept. 30–Oct. 6, 2026 pricing period.
Under the latest Riau plasma FFB price determination, the price for FFB from nine-year-old oil palms was set at IDR 3,912.29 per kilogram, down IDR 36.41/kg from the previous pricing period.

The determination was based on a crude palm oil (CPO) price of IDR 15,525.87/kg and a palm kernel price of IDR 13,443.82/kg.
The K index, which is used in the calculation of smallholder FFB prices, was set at 93.93%. Meanwhile, the Biaya Operasional Tidak Langsung (BOTL), or indirect operating cost component, stood at 1.24%, while palm shell was valued at IDR 15.46/kg.

The latest determination puts the highest FFB price at IDR 3,912.29/kg for nine-year-old oil palms. Prices then gradually decline for older plantations, reflecting the age-based pricing structure used for plasma smallholders in Riau. (P3)
