Acting on their instincts, they decided to investigate further and found JEP in possession of three plastic bags filled with FFB, which he appeared to have stolen.

JEP could not say a word but said that the FFB was falling from the mature stem in PT MIR plantations. But the security of PT MIR did not buy it and immediately took JEP and the evidence to the office of the company.

The management of PT MIR could not accept it and ordered the informant to take the case to Batang Toru Police so that the suspect would get legal sue. Police Chief of Batang Toru, AKP Tona Simanjuntak, S.H., informed the arrest on 4 October 2023.

“The perpetuator is questioned in Batang Toru Police,” Simanjuntak said, as Palmoilmagazine.com quoted from the official page of Indonesian Police. (T2)
