PALMOILMAGAZINE, Gunung Mas – Legislators from Gunung Mas (Gumas) have expressed strong support for the Attorney’s efforts to enforce the law in the plantation sector, particularly regarding business rights that should align with permits. They emphasized that this enforcement is vital to ensure compliance and discipline among stakeholders who may violate permit regulations related to land use.

The Attorney’s office in Gumas recently uncovered a corruption case involving palm oil business rights and permits, which resulted in a significant recovery of more than Rp 5 billion in state losses. Law enforcement in this area, she noted, is not only about protecting state assets but also fostering a responsible and sustainable business environment in the region’s plantation sector.

With the full supports from the Legislators, the regional government should reinforce the cooperation with the attorney to confirm that every party should do their business as the regulation, maintain the area governance, avoid every act that might deliver losses for the country and the people.
