PALMOILMAGAZINE, BANDA ACEH – Aceh Polytechnic celebrates a remarkable achievement as one of its scholarship recipients, Jamilus Zaki Ronata, earned international recognition at the International Youth Innovation Summit (IYIS) 2024, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, throughout December.
Jamilus, a Diploma III Mechatronics student, brought home three prestigious medals from the event. He clinched 1st Place in the Presentation category, 1st Place for Best Video Project Innovation, and 2nd Place for Best Project Innovation.
These accomplishments not only underscore the quality of education at Aceh Polytechnic but also serve as a proud moment for his hometown of Kaur Regency, Bengkulu Province.

Aceh Polytechnic Director Hilmi expressed his pride in an official statement shared with Palmoilmagazine.com on Monday (30/12/2024). “We are incredibly proud of this achievement. It showcases how our faculty’s guidance motivates students to excel in both academic and non-academic fields, setting them up for success on the global stage,” he said.
This success aligns with the institution’s ongoing commitment to fostering well-rounded professionals, preparing Palm Oil Scholarship recipients like Jamilus for future leadership roles in the palm oil industry.
Echoing this sentiment, Hendratmojo Bagus Hudoro, Director of Plantation Protection at the Directorate General of Plantations, Ministry of Agriculture, congratulated the student for his international accomplishment. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting programs that enhance the achievements of Palm Oil Scholarship recipients across universities in Indonesia.
The IYIS 2024 event awarded honors in five categories: Best Delegate Project, Best Team Project, Best Speaker Project, Best Presentation Project, and Best Video Project. The success of Aceh Polytechnic students underscores their quality and competence on an international stage.
