For 2025, INSTIPER has been allocated a total scholarship quota of 150 new students, distributed as follows: 60 for Agrotechnology, 30 for Agribusiness, 30 for Agricultural Product Technology, and 30 for Agricultural Engineering.

In a separate event, Rino Afrino, Secretary General of APKASINDO, also extended his congratulations during his keynote at the Digital Marketing Workshop for Palm Oil MSMEs held at INSTIPER’s Auditheater. “Congratulations to INSTIPER for once again being trusted to educate scholarship recipients for the SDM PKS program. Since 2005, INSTIPER has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to producing high-quality palm oil professionals,” he stated.

But learning at INSTIPER is about more than just lectures and labs. According to Dr. Fariha, scholarship students are also required to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular programs. These include skills training through platforms like the INSTIPER Drone Academy, Multimedia Academy, and other initiatives under the umbrella of INSTIPER Academy.

“Our students are trained to excel not just academically but also in soft skills. They’re encouraged to join competitions, creativity programs, and national events. The impact is clear—several scholarship students from INSTIPER have already achieved national-level awards,” she added.

With its comprehensive programming and institutional support, INSTIPER Yogyakarta once again affirms its role as a premier center for palm oil human resource development. It’s not just about producing graduates—it’s about shaping future changemakers for Indonesia’s palm oil industry. (P2)
