PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The Ministry of Trade, represented in Saudi Arabia, has intensified its efforts to promote its key products, including palm cooking oil and its derivatives. In May 2023, the Ministry of Trade, through the Trade Attache in Riyadh, made significant efforts to boost exports by engaging with palm cooking oil exporters in Saudi Arabia, particularly in Wadina, Riyadh.
The outcome of these efforts resulted in a company’s interest in procuring palm cooking oil products from Indonesia. These products include CP4, CP8, and CP10, with an estimated order of 200 to 300 tons.
CP4 is a type of palm cooking oil that undergoes multiple filtration processes, resulting in a purer color and enhanced resistance to cold temperatures, including resistance to freezing. This premium palm cooking oil is typically fortified with vitamin A before packaging to ensure it is clearer and healthier for consumption compared to regular palm cooking oil.

In these efforts, the Ministry of Trade is focusing on strengthening the export of these palm cooking oil products and their derivatives to Saudi Arabia.
For information, Wadina is one trusted food company that also operates in import, marketing, and distribution of fresh, frozen, cold, and dry food materials. To develop and expand business food, Wadina is in cooperation with credible suppliers that most of them are multi-national companies with the good market tracks globally.
Trade attache of Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh, Gunawan said, to support business development and expansion, Wadina asked for Indonesian Embassy to get palm cooking oil supply with the specification – CP4, CP6, and CP10.
“The order of Wadina, particularly in CP4 happens for Saudi Arabia, particularly in Riyadh is in extreme temperature.
