PALMOILMAGAZINE, SINGAPURA – Bumitama Agri Ltd (BAL), a palm oil plantation company, has been honored with the Asiamoney Award 2023 in four distinct categories, as recently announced by Asiamoney Magazine.
These categories include “The Overall Most Outstanding Company in Singapore,” “Best for ESG in Singapore,” “Most Outstanding Company in Singapore – Small/Mid Caps,” and “Consumer Staples Sector.”
Michael Kesuma, Head of Investor Relations at Bumitama Agri, expressed his thoughts on this achievement, stating, “Selecting Bumitama as the winner is a testament to our exceptional performance in 2022. Michael also said Bumitama keeps approaching to escalate its plantation productivity optimally. It successfully emphasized the leap of selling costs that happened because of the expensive fertilizers and fuel, and fresh fruit bunch purchase from the third parties that also escalated as same as the increasing crude palm oil (CPO) price. In rank, Bumitama is one of many plantations that highly produced CPO up to 4,8 tons per hectare in 2022.
The company keeps escalating sustainability heading to superiority that is applied in every operational aspect. This becomes the basic thing to implement sustainable businesses.
